Blue Crush to Return to the North Shore as a TV Show.

NBC’s reboot  of Blue Crush will also be a story of female empowerment and ambition, set on Hawaii’s North Shore. After a tragic accident, a surfer will work to revive her career and help save her local community, which is being threatened by commercialism and shady surf politics.  So it goes…We like the female empowerment angle a lot and really enjoyed getting to work on the original movie.

Red Bull Queen of Waimea Bay

Red Bull saves the day for women’s big wave surfing’s first ever all female event at Waimea Bay on the North Shore Oahu. Featuring 30 of the best and bravest women surfers in the world this event is long over due. Big congratulations to Betty Depolito for continuing to lead the way for women’s surfing on the North Shore. We at North Shore Surf Girl’s are so stoked on this contest and wish all of the competitors the best of luck and safety.
