North Shore Surf Girls – Blue Mercedes
It may seem a little odd talking about my 1984 Blue Mercedes surf lesson car on this blog but I love the car so. I first fell in love with her at Tesoro gas station in Haleiwa, my north shore girlfriend’s, Jamie was filling her up. I told her that if she ever wanted to sell that I would be happy to buy. About 12-months later Jamie called me to say that she was moving to the mainland.
I showed up at her V-land house check book in hand ready to pay almost anything for that beautiful blue Mercedes. To my delight Jamie being a super cool chick only asked for $500. I’ve dreamed of owning an old Mercedes since I first heard Janice Joplin’s parody on buying a Mercedes.
