I received a link to a press release announcing that the public can vote for the invitees into the North Shore’s if not the world’s most prestigious surfing contest, the Eddie as it’s known to locals. So I voted for my hanai cousin and favorite big wave surfer’s I’ve known and surfed with over the years. I also voted for the 3 surfer girls on the list. I also noted its the 25th anniversary of the event, which is pretty cool and for the first time a second sponsor is on board for this most prestigious surfing contest. More latter, dinners up.

Hey people of Hawaii!! My name is Nick, I’m 13 years old and I’m from Illinois. I was surfing the web for a school project when I found this website. Honestly, this school looks AWESOME!! Anyway, my school project is participating in something called the “Great American Mail Race.” It’s where each kid in my class (I’m not really sure who else in my school is doing it also) will send a letter to 4 different schools in 4 different states explaining themselves, such as their hair color, age and stuff like that. But we can only send it to a grade school. So I was wondering if this school (even though it’s a surf school) is a school with at least grade 8.
