Surf Student at Chun’s Reef
During the summer months from June to August, our beginner surf lessons take place at Chun’s Reef, while in winter, we head to Puaena Point, just 3 miles from Chun’s Reef. Our goal is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our students, regardless of age or skill level.
At North Shore Surf Girls, we understand that taking a surfing lesson is the best way for first-time surfers to learn quickly and safely. Our experienced instructors teach essential skills such as controlling the surfboard in waves and avoiding collisions with other surfers. Most importantly, we focus on making the learning process fun from the start.
Each surf lesson is tailored to the individual’s abilities, fitness level, and age. For younger children, we offer tandem special lessons where they ride with an instructor on the board. Older children receive highly controlled lessons with an instructor always nearby. Adults receive personalized coaching based on their fitness and prior sports experience, whether they’re learning to catch waves independently or need assistance in the water.
