The North Shore Surf Girls team consists of former pro surfers and trained lifeguards who have been featured in Blue Crush, Bay Watch, MTV, and the Travel Channel. As a local company, we treat every student like family and are passionate about sharing our love for surfing. To ensure you receive the attention you need to succeed, our group lessons never exceed a 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your lesson start time for a full refund or free reschedule. If North Shore Surf Girls cancels due to surf or weather conditions, you choose: a full refund, a free reschedule to any future date, or a North Shore Surf Girls gift card. No-shows are non-refundable, but we can usually reschedule with advance notice — even inside the 24-hour window — so please call or text us the moment you know. Late arrivals are accommodated to the best of our ability, especially when traffic is the cause.
The minimum age for our group surf lessons is 8 years old. Kids younger than 8 are welcome in a private family surf lesson, where an instructor can give them the focused attention and slower pace they need to learn safely. There is no upper age limit — we regularly teach guests in their 60s and 70s. Basic swimming comfort in waist-deep water is required for everyone.
